    •   been representing Balli Group PLC (see for example, Klöckner Holdings GmbH -v- Klöckner Beteilugungs GmbH [2005] EWGC 1453) and in a separate action, Klöckner Holdings GmbH (against a major German bank) in High Court proceedings arising from a failed multi-million euro takeover of a German steel giant and the financing issues related to it;  
    •   been instructed by an overseas bank on a complex matter concerning a potential breach of Sections 151 - 156 of the Companies Act 1986;  
    •   been acting on a variety of contentious company matters involving joint venture, partnership and shareholders' disputes and breach of confidence claims;  
    •   been acting on substantial claims where emergency injunctions have been sought;  
  been acting on substantial civil fraud and directors' misfeasance claims;  
    •   represented Global Marine Services (formerly Cable & Wireless Marine and British Telecom Marine) in two, ground-breaking, successful summary judgment applications involving a corporate headquarters and a cable-laying vessel;  
    •   been successful in a major arbitration for Samsung relating to the import of bulk component;  
    •   been successful in the widely-reported High Court and Court of Appeal disputes impacting on a landlord's rights in a Company Voluntary Arrangement (John Thomas –v- Ken Thomas Ltd [2006] 42 EG);
